Urban Soccer / Urban Padel

The Urban Group is today the French leader in 5-a-side football and co-leader in padel, with a dense network of centres located in the heart of major cities. Founded in the early 2000s, Urban joined Compagnie des Alpes in 2024.

Urban Soccer, benchmark of 5-a-side football

Urban Soccer is the pioneer of 5-a-side football in France. The concept is based on flexible, friendly, and accessible play on covered synthetic pitches, bookable online and available year-round. The network now counts over 300 pitches, mainly on the outskirts of major cities, allowing regular, hassle-free football practice.
In December 2025, Urban Soccer completed the acquisition of Sport4Lux, the leading player in 5-a-side football and padel in Luxembourg, marking a new step in the European expansion of the network.

Urban Soccer also hosts training courses and football schools run by PSG Academy France.

Urban Padel, a key growth driver

In 2015, the Urban Group expanded its offering with Urban Padel, capitalising on the rapid growth of this accessible and social sport. Padel follows the same codes that made Urban Soccer a success: easy access, friendliness, and leisure practice, enhancing the appeal of existing centres.
The development of Urban Padel is part of a rapidly growing European market, confirming the relevance of this growth driver within the Group’s portfolio.

A structured and high-performing network

Today, the Urban Group operates 38 centres in France (Urban Soccer and Urban Padel), more than 270 five-a-side football pitches, over 100 padel courts, around 500 employees, approximately 1 million visitors per year, and nearly 1,000 corporate events organised annually.
