Founded in 2011, the engineering subsidiary of the Compagnie des Alpes brings its expertise to the Group’s various sites in the areas of technical studies, project engineering, manufacturing, and construction. Built around four main fields of activity – ski lifts, snowmaking, slopes and development, as well as technical buildings – Ingelo has gradually expanded its expertise to the Group’s leisure parks, as well as to clients outside the Group, representing over 30% of its business.
With more than 80% of its purchases made in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, Ingelo is strongly committed to regional development. The subsidiary also embodies a CSR strategy, working to reduce its environmental impact and minimize waste by refurbishing ski lifts. INGELO also contributes its expertise to the energy efficiency of ski resorts by optimizing their snowmaking systems and the energy consumption of their operational buildings. Since 2020, these energy savings have been equivalent to the output of nearly 2,100 photovoltaic panels.
