Launch of the Travelski Express

A successful customer and commercial experience in line with commitment No. 2 of the Compagnie des Alpes group's Raison d'Être.

In 2021, Travelski, Europe's leading tour operator of packaged ski holidays in the French Alps, has broken new ground in the sector by integrating a fundamental reflection on the door-to-door mobility offers proposed to its customers.

The Travelski express concept is designed to offer Travelski customers a recurring decarbonized mobilitý offer by train from France, The UK, The Netherlands and Belgium (from Paris, London, Amsterdam and Brussels).

With the Travelski express, Compagnie des Alpes aims to be resolutely offensive both in action and in the search for new, concrete solutions to participate in the decarbonization of mobility for holidaymakers in the mountains and contribute to changing their uses by enabling several tens of thousands of customers to be able to get to the resorts by train every winter.

TO GO FURTHER

Door-to-door train service to the heart of London !

This exclusive, virtuous and comfortable "door-to-door" transport service has been widely acclaimed by our customers (with an exceptional NPS of over 60*), enabling them to travel directly by train to the French Alps and be picked up at their accommodation, thanks to integrated last-mile management.

This offer, which until now has been available exclusively in Travelski packages, offers a number of experiential advantages for consumers:

- Simplicity of booking in a single basket, and price transparency,

- Reduced stress around mountain access conditions (seamless, direct transport)

- The serenity of a trip that allows you to share moments with your family, have fun and relax.

- Possibility of enjoying an extra day's skiing during the week when arriving early in the morning or returning in the evening.

- Easier transport of luggage and ski equipment, at no extra cost compared to air travel

- A positive contribution to improving personal and family carbon footprints, and the satisfaction of doing one's part in the fight against climate change.

A major impact on carbon footprint

In line with the concrete deployment of initiatives that are now part of the Group's Raison d'Être, the Travelski express also aims to contribute to :

- Enhance the attractiveness of the French Alps in European markets served by rail,

- Develop exclusive know-how that cannot be relocated to other regions, in particular through last-mile management,

On average, 80%** of greenhouse gas emissions come from transporting skiers from their home to the ski resort. As the pollution ratio between train and plane or car is respectively 1 to 90 and 1 to 20***, the impact of travel by train has a drastic impact on the carbon footprint of a week's skiing.
