A pioneer since 1968, the Les Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry mountain domain has been built around a strong identity: an integrated, ski-in/ski-out resort designed from the outset as a year-round destination open to the widest possible audience. Visionary in both its architecture and the development of new snow sports – as the European birthplace of snowboarding – the domain remains today one of the most forward-looking destinations in the Alps.
Located in the heart of the Tarentaise Valley in Savoie, the ski area operated by ADS offers 200 km of alpine ski slopes, 16 high-altitude activities, 6 awareness areas and terrain where 70% of the ski area lies above 2,000 metres in altitude, ensuring a high-quality skiing experience throughout the season.
Thanks to the Vanoise Express, one of the longest cable cars in the world (1,824 metres), Les Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry is linked to La Plagne, forming Paradiski, an XXL ski area with 425 km of slopes accessible to all ability levels.
A pioneer in mobility-related initiatives, the domain benefits from a unique asset: the funicular linking Bourg-Saint-Maurice to Arc 1600, providing direct access to the ski area from the SNCF railway station and encouraging low-carbon and convenient travel for visitors.
A continuously evolving mountain domain
For several years, the Les Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry Mountain Domain has been transforming its activities and practices around three core priorities:
- Preserving the mountain environment over the long term
- Supporting regional development
- Offering diversified and innovative high-altitude experiences
The destination is now certified Flocon Vert and is the first mountain domain in Europe to obtain B Corp™ certification, demonstrating strong social and environmental commitments across all aspects of its operations.
