A pioneer since 1968 with a strong identity as a ski-in/ski-out resort and a “summer-winter” destination, the Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry area continues its evolution year after year, offering a playground accessible to all in every season.
World-renowned for its integrated architecture, a pioneer in new snow sports, and the European birthplace of snowboarding, the resort is one of the most avant-garde in the Alps.
Located in the heart of the Tarentaise Valley in Savoie, the Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry ski area, operated by CDA via Arcs Domaines Skiables (ADS), offers 200 km of ski slopes, 16 high-altitude activities, and 6 unique awareness areas. 70% of the ski area is above 2,000 meters in altitude.
Connected to La Plagne via the Vanoise Express, the largest cable car in the world without a supporting pylon, the Paradiski domain offers 425 km of slopes ranging from 1,200 to 3,226 meters.
A committed destination
The Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry area has equipped itself early on with the necessary means to ensure smooth circulation for visitors. The funicular between Bourg-Saint-Maurice and Arcs 1600 provides direct access from the SNCF train station in the heart of Haute-Tarentaise.
For several years, ADS has been driving a transition in its activities and practices, focused on three clearly defined missions:
- Sustainably preserving the mountain
- Developing the territory
- Offering visitors a wide range of high-altitude experiences
The Arcs destination is Flocon Vert certified, and the ski area is B Corp certified.
