Chaplin's World

Since its opening in 2016, the museum dedicated to the artist has welcomed more than 950,000 visitors from 75 countries. Driven by the belief that a joyful and humanistic perspective on the world has never been more relevant, Compagnie des Alpes continues to develop its unique and immersive concept, supported by the expertise of Grévin. The goal: to create a cultural entertainment site unlike any other in the world, enhancing the tourist and cultural appeal of the Swiss Riviera.

Located in Manoir de Ban, the artist’s family residence for 25 years, Chaplin’s World spans over 4,000 m² of exhibition space, a 5-hectare park, and a 1,350 m² cinema built and equipped according to sustainable development and energy efficiency standards.
These areas are fully integrated into the visitor experience, featuring more than 30 wax figures designed and created by Grévin artists. The project also drew on the expertise of Compagnie des Alpes, offering visitors exclusive video montages, recreated film sets, and encounters with iconic actors.

Chaplin’s World has earned multiple accolades for its quality and originality, including the 2017 and 2018 Traveller’s Choice Awards, the Best Museum in Europe Award in 2018, and the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in 2019.
