Located in St. Margarethen im Burgenland, near Lake Neusiedl and less than an hour from Vienna, Familypark is Austria’s largest leisure park. The park has been part of Compagnie des Alpes’ amusement parks division since its acquisition in 2019. Spanning over 14 hectares, Familypark benefits from an exceptional catchment area, with around 7 million residents within a two-hour drive and no direct competition in the region.

Established in 1968, Familypark has built a strongly family-oriented positioning, combining rides, games, shows, and landscaped areas.
The park is organized into four thematic worlds: Erlebnisburg (Experience Castle), Märchenwald (Fairytale Forest), Bauernhof (The Farm), and Abenteuerinsel (Adventure Island). These worlds offer more than 66 attractions and experiences, including over 30 rides, water games, musical theatres, and expansive playgrounds, accessible to all generations.

Integrating Familypark into the CDA portfolio aligns with the Group’s international development strategy. The park meets the Group’s standards for infrastructure quality, visitor satisfaction, and development potential, including 13 hectares of adjacent land reserves.
Planned investments for the coming years aim to enhance the park’s appeal and improve both the offering and the quality of facilities. The goal: to accommodate a growing number of visitors while reinforcing the park’s consistency and positioning.
For the 2026 season, Familypark will expand its offer with a new Italian-themed area and its vineyards, as well as two new flagship attractions: Rotonda, unique in Austria, and Wild Winzer for younger guests.

We are investing decisively in the future and expanding our offering for all age groups. In doing so, we are sustainably strengthening the entire Lake Neusiedl World Heritage region,” emphasizes Director Filip de Witte.
