Walibi Belgium, the first park under the Walibi licence created in 1975 and located in Wavre at the heart of Belgium, is one of the country’s leading leisure destinations. Renowned for the quality and originality of its attractions, the park appeals to a wide audience, combining thrilling rides, family experiences, and immersive worlds.
Walibi Belgium has built a strong identity around thrills and innovation. Iconic attractions such as Dalton Terror, Belgium’s first free-fall tower, and Psyké Underground, a fully covered coaster with a unique concept, have left a lasting mark on the park’s history. This DNA, combined with a constant capacity for renewal, enables the park to maintain a leading position both with the public and industry professionals.
The “Grand Walibi” Plan
Between 2018 and 2023, Walibi Belgium carried out a major investment plan called “Grand Walibi”, led by Compagnie des Alpes with a budget of €100 million. The goal was to transform approximately 75% of the park’s surface by 2023, achieving a deep renewal of the site. The park is now structured around immersive thematic worlds that clearly guide the visitor journey. Universes such as Exotic World, Karma World, Fun World and Dock World now form the backbone of the park. This approach strengthens immersion, diversifies experiences, and reaches multiple audiences while asserting a strong identity.
The park has notably been recognised at the Park World Excellence Awards 2025, where Dock World won “Best Use of Theme of the Year”, highlighting the quality of immersion, storytelling, and integration of attractions within their narrative environment.
A long-standing events strategy
Walibi Belgium relies on a consistent events policy, now a key pillar of its appeal. The Halloween season, developed for over twenty years, remains a major highlight of the calendar and strongly contributes to the park’s image.
