Aqualibi

Founded in 1987, Aqualibi is Belgium’s most iconic indoor water park. Located in Wavre, in the immediate vicinity of Walibi Belgium, it represents a major complementary facility within the Wavre leisure destination.

Developed over an area of more than 8,000 sqm, Aqualibi offers a wide range of water attractions combining thrill slides, a wave pool, a wild river and relaxation pools, providing an experience suited both to families and to visitors seeking more intense sensations. The water is maintained at 29°C all year round, reinforcing Aqualibi’s positioning as a leading indoor leisure destination in Belgium.

A transformation as part of the “Grand Walibi” investment plan

Aqualibi was fully integrated into the “Grand Walibi” investment programme between 2018 and 2023. As part of this initiative, the water park underwent a complete redesign of its spaces, including a full retheming of the site in a festive Caribbean atmosphere, the creation of new family-oriented areas and a major modernisation of its infrastructure.

This transformation notably led to the creation of Kiddie Bay, a 700 sqm area specially designed for young children. It continued in 2023 with the opening of Surf Bay, a new water zone featuring a 25-metre-high slide tower serving as the starting point for four spectacular slides unique in the Benelux region.

This evolution has enabled Aqualibi to be sustainably repositioned as a new-generation water facility and to further strengthen its appeal among families.
